Calorie Count for an active female vegetarian for a while? (Roller Derby and others)?
I roller derby, so take a few hits … I was wondering if this would require the same amount of calories in a diet normally active "normal" females (1600-2000 cals, depending) [1200] not working days. As some of y'all know I'm new to the vegetarian scene. I'm guessing the rule of the protein is still the same as normal people active? When I say active, I mean practice is about two hours twice a week, skating and between them, and do yoga / wii game belly dance / (just a little bit) / dance house occasionally during the week. Im not too active, but when the game starts the season for the derby team I need to be in shape … more Im a vegetarian again, the extra care that would helpful. Thank you. PS-Im about 15 pounds overweight, so I'm trying to work out and gain some muscle, too. No jack ass answers like "You may not build muscle without meat, "Please … this is just stupid, honestly. If you can find out how many calories you burn during the week including its practices, then you can subtract 7000-10500 that, then try to split it among its seven days. That will have to lose a healthy 2-3 pounds per week. Good luck:)
