Is it always means a puppy has worms, if the belly is fat?
we have a new Jack Russell puppy today. we take it the vet that he controlled, but I wanted to ask anyway. I heard that if the puppies have worms have fat bellies .. tummy not well is too big or anything, but it seems like hes eaten a bit more than it should. the lady who gave it to us said he has been wormed and needed to be back in a few weeks, but I'm going to let the vet determine that. I was thinking that if this were the case. He tired a little while ago and I pcked it in toilet paper to clean and it seemed normal .. not loose or watery and no signs of worms in the poop. Thank you.
Hi Beautiful, Most pups are born with worms .. Whip worms, hook worms, round worms and if the dog has fleas worms cassette .. worms are very common in puppies and adult dogs.All they have to do is swallow a flea and tape worms .. She said they already wormed and in about 3-4 weeks you will do it again .. This is true .. You have to take a sample of your poo puppies to the vet with you .. This is the only way the vet will know for sure if he has worms .. After all you said, "Your puppy looks very healthy for me" Lol .. .. Jack Russell puppies are hyper and very good ..
