Diabetes and weight gain?
I have a Type 1 diabetic for almost 14 years. I was giving myself insulin shots since he was diagnosed. I try to run my injection spots very regularly but I noticed the area around my abdomen (specifically my navel) is very thick and looks almost like a spigot. " I work every day my stomach, and run every day have a very high metabolism, so I know that isn't fat. Also, when I flex my stomach is hard as a rock! I read today (wish I wouldve seen this before) that you are not supposed to inject within 2 inches from your navel. Can anyone explain this and also tell me how can I get rid of that dog insulin?
Its supposed to inject into fatty tissue you can feel them, as for the stomache pouchy I I also have two hernias tried everything and everyone.
