Trying to bulk up, but trying to lose belly fat?
I have 30 @ 6 and 150 pounds. I went to the gym early this year and worked with a coach for a few months. I'm a skinny kid, but I wanted to put some muscle (chest and biceps) and lose a little of my belly fat (not very all). The coach had me eat (I still do it) lots of pasta after workouts to help me bulk up. I cut a lot of fat from my diet and eat much protein, like chicken and fish. I also eat 6-7 times per day. I can see my six pack when I flex my stomach muscles but I still have a little fat in the stomach. Is there a way to get rid of total fat, without sacrificing any muscle build-up that I won? Thanks.
You can not spot reduce. Doing the will ab excercises to flatten your tummy, but not get rid of fat. The only way to lose fat is to burn more calories than you eat. Sorry to say some people simply can not normally be torn. Your genes have a lot to do with it. As you're skinny, your body simply carries a bit of fat in your stomach.
