How to burn a very thin layer of fat?
I'm almost 15 and use the gym twice a week and play squash at high level. My fitness levels are high because I also run a lot (was 12.8 in the bleep test). I work on my abs every other day and may feel that they are strong. But I have a thin layer fat covering them. I have a very healthy diet. If I pull down the fat a little bit that I can clearly see my six pack. The rest of my body is relatively muscles so that all I need now is a block. Please help me get rid of my belly fat.
You'll probably have to have 10% body fat to really see your abs. If you want to get this low, no matter how hard you work out if you do not have to diet to get back up. Quite a healthy diet does not cut it. You're diet is mainly protein. No carbs after two hours, this includes alcohol as well. I ate only carbohydrates breakfast, brunch, lunch and snack, and possibly in the afternoon. That does not mean you have to eat carbohydrates then only if you like, this is when you should. Your body needs a reasonable amount of carbohydrates so you may have some toast for breakfast, maybe a little brown rice with lunch and some fruit by mid-morning and mid-afternoon snack. For dinner just stick to meat or fish with some vegetables. Also forgot to mention that you should eat 5-6 meals a day and drink plenty of water.
