Burning Belly Fat Exercises

There is a good way to get rid of belly fat (in addition to pushups and abdominal)?
Sit-ups and crunches are good, but I heard that they only build muscle UNDER the fat you already have … and assign only the minimum fat burning. What exercises can be done specifically for burn belly fat?
OK something is right up my alley …. My mother is Hungarian … we are prone to stomach … got mine about 40 and the little sucker stayed with me until …. I have some great advice from my doctor … I had tried everything …… This actually worked and I lost about 23 pounds the joy of losing the belly … seriously … That darn Danon Immunity, tiny bottles of yogurt section, get the strawberry / vanilla taste is yuck …. great and I nail one of these after my main meal of the day (for me it's lunch) … he has things that your body does more to fight belly fat … I can not believe they advertise is not so … worked for me, my daughter, my stepmother and my son …. try … is awesome …. And Sunshine is right … dispenses the ice cream every day …. but I still eat the things I want, just had fried chicken for lunch … and still lost weight .. Another rule of thumb … whatever you want before 2:00 pm … then after eating a bit more sensible …. you know Peanut Butter Sandwiches are great little pick me ups … I say it worked … I get tons of compliments ….. care and gooooood luck. I know what it is fighting with it. Alda PS you're right about the sit-ups other than my belly I had no body fat and sit-ups only made worse.
