What percentage of fat calories are burned during a workout given?
For example, if I burn about 1,200 calories in an hour on a machine elliptical, is there a way I can figure out exactly how many of those calories are fat calories?
Much depends on the intensity you is working. Going slower, usually burns a higher percentage of fat, but fewer total calories. Working out with an intensity Hihg media as a smaller percentage of your calories burned come from fat, but since you burn more total calories you can burn more fat. You can burn anywhere from 40-70% of their calories from fat.
