Fat Burn Range

What should my heart rate to lose weight?
I'm 30 years old male, and need to lose a significant amount of weight. Machinery fitness in the gym that I use to say that "fat burning" range for my heart rate should be 123, but it does not take long for reach that number, and really feel I'm doing much, I need it to be a good 140-150. Can anyone explain what I do to be most effective?
its kind of an old school way of thinking, yes, about the fat burning level you will be using stored fat for energy before using the stored carboyhdrates in your body, but its kind of misleading to say that this is the best / fastest way to lose weight. If you work at cardio you will burn more calories, and indeed that is how your going to lose weight by burning as many calories as possible, and you have the added benefit of excersing your heart and muscles and boost your metabolism (brning calories even when its not working out), you can lose weight using aerobics to burn fat way, but basically and time to burn fat is what will it take to burn more calories than 20 minutes of cardio. I highly recommend cardio interval training, first, because you do something differnt every few minutes, I get bored easily and works every muscle in your body, strength and cardio all in one, apart from its more natural to use more than one muscle group at a time.you could try jillian michaels 30 day shred or excersizetv.com has free training videos are excellent. i say they do not stop ever, took me six weeks before I start losing some weight, but as my husband kept reminding me, my body was itsself conditioning for weight loss after being sedentary for a long time and my heart was healthy anyway. Another tip that I know I worked hard enough, if I feel a little sore every day, it gets better over time, if I do not have to think i havent worked hard enough to lose weight. then go to the cardio, burn calories faster stregthen boost your heart metabolism, start slowly not rushing to get some strength training and some cardio work to try to do 40 minutes of cardio every day, let it be your weight loss goal and just be a consequence of that, the best of luck to you! so
