What is a good Workout To Burn Fat in your arms and tone them?

I am pregnant so I can not raise a ton of weight or any other thing. Ive been using a toning band, but was wondering if this is effective .. I have done this a long time – two weeks and in about 10-20 minutes per day (time permitting) five days a week. So I was wondering what other exercises are great for the arms in the burning of fat. Thanks.

If you can lift the weight properly (with good form), up to 15 repetitions with your arms, you can safely continue this scheme until the third trimester and even until the end of the month to August. Toning bands can be as effective as other modes of exercise, since the resistance is there. But if it is very easy, you will not have much of a workout with them. Bands use more than one variable resistance dynamic (isotonic) typcially not provide the same results in the long term and constant resistance and dynamics such as free weights. However, they are the perfect device for a workout at home, if you use them properly and ensure the 15 rep is not very easy. The back of the arms is an area that many women easily deposit of fat. So then becomes a matter of reducing body fat levels as well. Since you are pregnant, body fat levels also rise above their levels normal, along with increased water retention, so you really are working an uphill battle since your body has other concerns at this time. The best suggestion I can give you are: – Do not be too concerned about toning your arms until you have delivered. The form and tone will come with time. – Stick to basic exercises for the biceps, triceps and shoulders (links below). – Maintain a healthy diet for you and your baby and reduce all saturated fats, processed foods and simple sugars – increase your cardiovascular level (low impact as walking and elliptical) to keep its target rate heart for a minimum of 15 minutes and no more than 30 minutes (due to her pregnancy) – Select exercises with free weights that are performed with dumbbells only machines or cables (stay away from the barre exercises) – Seek the guidance of a certified personal trainer to assist you in developing a program that meets your needs.
