Fat Burning Kitchen Mike Geary
When I go to my gym, the area most frequented is where the treadmills and ab machines are located. People only want to burn your belly fat and they are all making a ton of stomach exercises to achieve that goal. Is this wise? Do ab exercises burn belly fat?
The answer is that ab exercises burn belly fat, but they are the best exercises for this goal. The reason is twofold:
1. You can not burn fat from one part of your body with exercise alone, so it really does not matter if your work abs or not, you lose the fat all over his body as a single unit.
2. Ab exercises burn fat, but there are other, much more effective in terms of fat burning exercises.
The real way to burn ab fat is faster to do the strength training that involves more than one muscle group, the multi-jointed exercises like squats, lunges, push-ups, chin-ups, chest presses, and so on. These strength exercises will burn much more fat than ab exercises. As the body burns fat as a single unit, your belly fat also decreased.
That all people in gyms everywhere who spend hours doing ab exercises do not realize that, while there is belly fat no matter how strong are the muscles, they will never show how they are covered with fat. Only when you cut down and burn the excess sagging stomach, your muscles will show.
Thus, the tummy exercises are important, but not as fat burners, just like building muscle. They are much less useful for multi-jointed exercises. So do stomach exercises, but do not spend much time with them.
