Fat Burning Zone Equation
Specifically, what is the best rate for fat burning zone heart?
I know everything abou tthe 70% of the heart is considered the fat-burning zone and such (for me), I am just wondering if I'm exercising and my heart rate is up to about 156, I'm now in a different region of the exercise, however, I am still burning fat efficiently right? What is the difference between the two zones? The equation is 220 minus your age and such, I just need to know what is the difference in fat burning occurs in the zones. My main goal is to lose weight but not muscle. I do yoga and stuff, so I have muscle, I just want to lose the fat I have. (Do not we all?)
You really do not have time to start its very up to burn fat. Anaerobic exercise puts your body into fat-burning zone. If you are doing atheletic / yoga cardio, you're probably in addition, but if it's just regular yoga, you're out on the ideal fat burning zone. Caveat: You want to be above the burning zone fat (fat burning and muscle) for at least some of their training, it allows you to build muscle more efficiently. When your muscles break down and build again, they get stronger and burn more fat at rest. Runners and cyclists are regularly above the fat burning zone and they are definitely not lacking mucles.
