Heart Rate Fat Burn Zone

Fat Burn vs. Cardio Zone Zone: Fact or Fiction?

Are you confused about the "cardio zone" vs. the "fat burning zone" when it comes to following your heart rate while you're doing cardio? I would like to take a moment to dispel this myth and make sure you're getting most out of your cardio routine.

Here is a proven fact: the lower intensity of exercise you do, the higher percentage of the total calories you burn come from fat. The so-called "fat burning zone is around 65% of your maximum heart rate, and the" cardio zone "is supposed be around 80% of your maximum heart rate. So in theory, we were in the range of lower intensity for the largest percentage of calories they burn to come from fat.

The problem with this, however, is that while a higher percentage of calories come from fat, you do not burn so in any period of time. If we all were worried about was the high percentage of calories from fat, you can sit on your couch and record a very high percentage of calories from fat all day long! You burn a higher percentage of calories as fat, while you are sitting playing GTA – but the problem is you do not burn many calories.

Although a higher intensity (the "cardio zone" for example), you burning may be a slightly lower percentage of calories as fat, you are burning more calories in a comparable amount of time – that is the most important when we are trying to lose fat. At the end of the day to lose weight, you must expend more calories than we take in

What's the verdict? You ignore cardio vs fat burn zone debate. Exercise at a higher intensity – shoot about 80% of your maximum heart rate (200-your age = heart rate maximum). You can also work in your Interval Training Workouts for a bigger and more effective cardio workout.
