Building the leg muscle?

What is one of the best exercises for building muscle in the upper thighs? I would like to become stronger at all, but as a paratrooper I need to be fit enough to shake a bad landing. I'm sure it will also help with stunts in the air since I work until. (Yeah!:) I especially would like to strengthen the back of my thigh (gracilis and femoral bicep) and use them more in my landings. I'm still new to the sport, and get some rough landings over time. I have started a more rigorous strength training, but I need some help. I use at the gym in a neighboring house, and I'm not sure I'm working on the right things to get my desired results. Please give me any advice you can! You will not be blowing smoke, I am dedicated and will take all the recommendations to heart and put it into action. Thanks! The best exercises to do to strengthen the muscles that you mentioned include standing waves. These can be seated or standing. You will probably have to go to a gym to do these though. Just find the leg curl machine (I usually do some seated) and roll the dough to himself. Make sure you go slow and get the full range of motion out of the year. Do not put much weight on, as do the exercise correctly is more important than weight itself. Standing leg curl are great too. You can also try good mornings, which involve bending forward at the waist with a bar across your shoulders, then righting itself back up. I would probably get a demo of one of these before you try, as they can be very easy to do incorrectly. Try YouTube. Abductions are great for strengthening the gracilis. I like the abduction machine where you pull your feet from side to you same. Regarding the home exercises, prisoner squats are great or try any of these with the weight tied to necessary parts of your body. Remember when your muscles require balance, to do squats and leg presses, as well as your biceps and gracilis not get the rest of your feet out of wack. Only I conclude by saying that I really admire you for skydiving. It's something I always wanted to do, but I havn't been able to overcome a fear of heights to do so. Oh well, hope this helped.
