Diet and exercise properly to build upper body muscles?

I'm one year old male 19. I'm only £ 145. and I have a lot of muscle in my lower body for sports, however I want my body would compensate. I have always risen over last summer, but I see no change. I realized that I probably was not eating the right things to build muscle out. I'm wondering if there's someone there out, who knows what I have to eat much and avoid eating so when I get up I will see improvements. Thanks

hey I know I am a girl, but I have a brother who is 18 and he is all high and growing every day and he used to be about your weight a year ago and now he's about 160 that he does is He drinks protein shakes every day and get as much protein as tuna is a good protien source as possible, but the problem is getting bigger over to him only atarted eat a lot of protien and going to the gym work every day, but not move your upper body from its daily bottom to top, but I hope this helps oh and you say in your question youlifted all last summer not only lift in the summer or what I'm trying to say is do not give up to continue receiving greater you will get there.
