Turn the saturated fat in cholesterol?
There is absolutely no way you can become saturated fat (or any other type of fat) in cholesterol. But human biochemistry is so complex and intertwined that I can not be so bold as to make that claim. The liver is the chemical plant more fantastic world. It can take almost any molecule, and through a series of mind bogglingly complicated steps, turn it in another molecule (with some notable exceptions).
So you can not say for absolute certainty, that fat does not become the cholesterol, because some pieces of fat is probably not incorporated cholesterol after the mashed liver has about it, and cleaved, and added a few atoms different here and there. However, let me point out the following two facts and let you draw your own conclusions. The fact that a fundamental building block for Cholesterol is a substance called acetyl-CoA.
You only need to know two things about this matter: It contains phosphorus, sulfur and nitrogen (None of which are found in fats, are found in proteins).
