Stress Belly Fat Cortisol

The belly fat, I had abdominal surgery a few years ago and my belly seems to be accumulating a lot of fat since then?
Then my muscles weakened after abdominal surgey and I also believe that cortisol (stress hormone) creates a lot of fat around the belly, so my question is what can I do, if not totally aleviate it at least reduce it?
It seems that you need to focus on reducing the stress in your life so that your cortisol levels are reduced. Meditate, yoga, chamomile tea, soothing hot bath, peaceful living environment, get rid of the relations toxic, and all you feel that reducing stress in your life. Listen to your inner voice.
